I've been wanting to work on my India book for a while now but I have been so busy! I wish I was back there... working on this project make me miss Kolkata so much!
We were invited along to a friends family event to celebrate the Kali Festival. The Kali goddess is associated with empowerment which is why there are a lot of fireworks! We had to put Kali in the back of the truck and throw her in the river! After dancing behind the truck for about an hour we all hop on (about 30 of us) and drive to the river at 50mph (scary but SOOOO much fun at the same time!)
I have so much love for the children of The Hope Foundation... Especially the little dinks at the creches! I become a human climbing frame but I don't mind!
Had it done on the streets of india for 10p and took the guys about 10 minutes! He was SOOOOO quick but I would love to draw something like this!
I just HAD to share this! I was in a room SURROUNDED by pretty things. Tops, vests, art, dresses, skirts, tunics, trousers, notebooks, books, throws, scarves, headbands, tea, wall hangs, ornaments literally CRAZY the amount of stock they had! Think I will be coming back here again :D
I'm a blogger me.
Stalk me some more for all things Swoodle & design :)
